I know there's a thread about this on the KR forums, but was wondering what you guys think of that series? Judging purely on that photo and the recent fatale series, I'm glad i've stopped with the production dunny's and even more happier i bought from the CTU assassins series... can't see me getting any of them at the moment...

Yeah, I'm not a fan of production dunnys either. I have few here and there, but I got most of those before I really got into customs. I do like all the xmas dunnys though.

agreed, Ive never really liked much production. I feel like all those big time artist...just get alot of hype and its almost never any jaw dropping stuff. With the few exceptions such as Cris rose, hugh and a few others that in my mind I consider high profile artist. But personally I think that all of us on this foruim for the most part..the high posters and producers of art.....and quite frankly the " Struggling" Artist such Hypnotiq, fuller, B.A.L.D, Rsin, Troy, Rusted, and the list goes on...are far better artist than anything Ive ever seen production wise............................Sorry for the long rant but ive been thinking about that shit for some time now haha...kinda pisses me off when people like us dont get the recognition we all def deserve more of..

I'll have to go search the KR boards for the pictures because I don't believe I've seen them yet. The last dunny series I bought was endangered otherwise I've avoided collecting dunnys for ages.

Pantz- I agree there are some fantastic artists out there much better than what you see in the production line for a dunny series.

Thanks Matt, yeah I know some production ones are lacking. I see their side though, it is a printing thing, more colors more complex designs = more $$$ and less profit.

I personally only have a few I wont paint over but usually when I get a dunny the previous design is doomed.

*edit* Hypnotiq is not an artist but is a great collector of art.

Hahahaha Dood i think you can make THAT into a production piece hahahah thats awesome....Thanks Bryan from the edit haha ...and I see their side as well...but art is about art ya know...you wouldnt believe the amount of cash i pour into making some of the pieces i have only to get maybe half back...but atleast its out there..........or atleast thats what i have to keep telling my wife when the bill comes in on what ive spent out on them hahaha

I love how you push yourself to be more and more creative each time you complete a piece. I remember the dragon, and thinking it was awesome, and then the lights in the Munny, and then finally that Celsius you did was just insane.

thanks man, And this is why I like you guys. Its great to be a low ball artist per say and be much appreciated like i was a hi brow artist....this is why I dont mind dumping alot into what I make as long as someone appreciates it...such as yourself....and speaking of that I should have a couple more WIPs for you guys to look at....been working on 5 customs total but slow parts is killin me. but i should have two more Celsius, a koibito custom, my own personal take on a scaled vader helmet and a commissioned munny
