As most of you know I have been doing figures from the raisins movies in the 80's and I just finished my next sculpt.

Character name is Frederico Raspberrini and shows up shortly in the first raisin movie and was shown as a movie director. His likeness also showed up on the display box of the 80s plastic figurines but they never made him so I wanted to produce him myself.


Here he is.





The figure itself is 2 1/4 inches tall and when on his directors chair I made for him he is just about 3 inches tall.

Here is the reference picture I worked from. Character only appeared in the movie for a few seconds and only from the front.

Damn, that looks exactly the same. Think about venturing outside of that movie/genre? You have pretty great sculpting skills.

Yeah I am going to have to venture out pretty soon. Doing the Munnyworld Contest lol. I have to start coming up with some ideas..

I kind of wanted to stay in this genre for a little while. I have a list of about 10 or more different characters that I wanted to make.

I think the contest is a great way to venture out. People always bring out their best work when competing with other people

Well. Its been a while since Ive posted here. Was going to do that munny contest but got wrapped up in stuff and completely forgot about it. I have been back into doing more of these raisin movie theme sculptures. Here is an update with several new sculpts I completed. In order from furthers out to most recent completed. All sculpted bodies measure 2 - 2 1/2 inches tall.

All I have left to do to make the figures complete is do the small "pain" detail work. Hands, gloves, shoes, boots, high heels, belts, buckles, instruments, etc etc....
