Local shop/art space Evermore Nevermore is putting on another Steampunk Street event here in Mesa, AZ. Back in October 2010 they lined the South side of Main St. in Mesa with nothing but local Steampunk artists. With my new gallery The Rusted Nail opening in mid March on Main St. my first show will coincide with this big event.

This is an open call for any artists to be a part. You don't have to be known for having a Steampunk style to your work, but this will be the theme for the show. So if you've ever wanted to steam and gear up a custom here's your chance. It's open platform so feel free to do up whatever vinyl toy, paint a canvas, construct a metal sculpture, or sculpt up something original.

Submissions will need to be in by Friday April 1st. Contact me here or at rustedhalo@cox.net if you have any questions.

Already told you I'm in but I'll post it here too. I've got a small piece that I'm finishing up hopefully today or Friday. Then if I have time I wanna make something else to go with it. I'll post a pic soon.

Just a little update with a new flier and show name. We've got a lot of artists on board for this. I've already started to receive pieces for the show and got some cool people on board with this, including of October Toys/Toy Break fame the great Matt "Hidiousboi" Aylward. There's still time to submit a piece so even if you haven't done anything Steampunk related before feel free to give us your interpretation. The show is now titled Robots and Rayguns, so if you think you can come up with something along those those please PM me here or email me at rustedhalo@cox.net

One mans trash is another mans treasure.

Show is coming together nicely. Got some flyers done up and pieces are starting to arrive. Some of you may remember my giant cardboard 3A Bramble, well he's in the front window display along with some home made mannequins set in a WWR meets Tank Girl meets Fallout post apocalyptic scene. People constantly stop to take pictures.

Already planning the next vinyl toy show to go along with Phoenix Comic Con so hope more of the CTU crew can take a part of this one. :)

Show will run for about a month so you can still submit something. CTU is well represented in this show. I just got BALD;s piece in the mail today, I love it man. :raisedaroof:
