My damn computer crashed today, I mean fatal fixed it but lost a lot of data on my hard drive and my back up isn't working only got back an 8th of my files!!! S>O>B Microsoft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that sucks!!! there are companies you can pay to recover that stuff if you still got the hard drive...

now the question is what were you doing before the crash? mine's doing ok with Windows 7, u on it?

i've been annoyed with Vista but i'm cheap so i just stick with whatever operating system comes with my PC. i just cant get into a MAC learning curve is too weird for me. grew up on PCs

^Thanks guys, was just surfing then bam dead! My fault for not having multiple back-ups, only really big loss was family photos, the rest was .psd's etc. but those can all be replaced.

I'm still running it on good 'ol XP but now I'm looking into some recovery software.

sux, that's the thing i would dread to lose - photos, can't replace those memories. Should get yourself Windows 7 mate! gd luck!
