I've been following this forum for awhile now finally decided to get on and post up a pic of the third ever custom I've made. I haven't named it yet and it should still be considered a WIP as I've still got a sword for him. The premise behind the Custom and the base is a disturbed drink along the side of a river which ends badly for the aggressor. Tell me what ya think any and all comments are welcome. Just trying to improve my skills as my store is planning on holding a DIY contest and I wanna be able to show some style lol.

Thanks I'm thinking the sword will tie the whole piece together working out the back story on the piece as well I wanna do some sort of placard or sign not really sure but at least something with a title for the piece on it.

I appreciate that I'm hoping my next one will go much smoother and be cleaner. I like this one I just feel I made some simple mistakes I now know how to avoid. Any ideas of what I need to work on or ways I could improve my sculpting and painting are appreciated I feel painting is my weakest ability. Never can get it quite as smooth as I'd like

Sure is it's the blade from a letter opener actually. I was gonna mold one completely but I really wanted it to be metal and reflective and unfortunately have no way to cut or hammer my own metal pieces so I slightly cheated lol.
