Anyone have hook ups on hotel rooms?

Well not so great right now. Historically the Netherlands was a centre for art and architecture. For such an small country we have made our artistic statement all over the world. Nowadays good artists leave the Netherlands. Artist like Femke Hiemstra http://www.femtasia.nl and http://reducedfiguration.com/ all left the Netherlands long time ago. Don't know why but there seems to be no intrest in new art forms... The Netherlands went from art centre to periphery.

Hoping to be able the push toys forward in the near future..

Going all four days .... was going to bring some customs for little nicky and his booth.... Irulan gave me the okay... Fuller and BALD any problems displaying your work? I got a pretty good deal on a hotel ahead of time just not sure how close it is? they said it is on the shuttle route so I hoping its not too bad...... Bring my 3yr old so should be an adventure.

It really doesn't matter how far you are. Parking is only 20 bucks if you have a car, and tax rides are pretty cheap as well. We actually stayed pretty far away last time, and it wasn't that bad.

and if you don't mind a little walk, you can park at Horton Plaza and get your ticket validated at one of the shops and park for FREE. 2 friends and I did that a couple years ago and then got a ride from one of those guys on the bikes. He was an older fellow and only charged us $6 cause he liked our costumes.

There's some cheaper hotels in National City & Chula Vista. There's some good areas and some bad areas of Chula Vista so be careful with that. Otherwise it's like a 15min drive to the convention center. The great thing is you don't have to deal with downtown traffic since you're south.

Also make friends with people staying at your hotel, I guarantee someone there will be attending SDCC and you may be able to carpool with them to the convention and save on parking.

I should be going... I need plane tix and extra cash (who doesn't right)... anyway, should know more once it gets closer... would love to meet a few of you...

I just got confirmed for Professional Passes so I will be at SDCC10 all days...now time to find some projects to work on and maybe some booths/tables interested in hosting.

It said I could purchase 2 adult passes for $100 each, not sure if I had to do that when I registered or if I can do that anytime. I'm still not sure if I'll be going alone this year(wouldn't be the first time) but yeah. When the time draws closer we need to set up a meet n greet for those of us on CTU who will be going.

I'll also be going with a pro pass, so same deal if someone wants a $100 4 day ticket hit me up. I love going to preview night, but I hafta check with the boss what our schedule is going to be like down there. I want to make a couple Mogs to sell on the floor as I wander around, but I have so much on my plate at the moment 8/

I wold love to pitch in for a booth next year though, I think that would be brilliant!

I would love to got out to sdcc! im in nyc and never make it haha, 2 years back i purchased tickets for nycc and still did not make it BTW I LOVE THE SMILIES ON THIS FORUMS!
